Nicki, the widow of the late Brett Manning, who passed away last year. is happy for Arthouse Cinema to show Bretts Movie 'Rough Cuts'.
Calling all friends and those interested. It is going to be held the night before Arthouse Cinema starts their Surfing Film Festival at the Mayfair in New Plymouth. This festival coincides with the Womens Surfing ATP tour event.
The date is April 09 at 7.30pm door opens; with screening 8pm. Viewing time approx 1 hour 20 mins.
As Nicki pointed out its not commercial in any way; its Bretts cut of the coast and the mountain. Surf and Snow local scene action prevails.
All Those who might want to see it are welcome; Arthouse will pay staff to open the cinema and run the gear; its usually closed on Friday because of the racket from the Matinee bar below (house music) but will just crank up our own volume. Venue is not very big - 70 old seats from the operahouse dating back to 1915; 10 beanbags and two couches. And a bar stool. Our fire limit is 100. So its first in, first seated! Drinks/nibbles available.
